It’s been over a decade since one of R&B’s greatest, Aaliyah, has passed away from us. It’s been that long since an official release has been outed by her relatives, except for some greatest hits and bonustracks. That’s about to change cause rumours have been spread that rapper Drake is preparing to executive produce her first album with old vocals and new beats to make it short.

Producer Timbaland said that if a new Aaliyah album would be brought out, he and Missy Elliot should be on it as well, only then it would be right, as he was greatly responsible for creating the sound that the late R&B songstress became so famous with.
