These last years have shown us a rise of typical classic gangster movies with Public Enemies featuring Johnny Depp as the latest feat of arms. This next upcoming gangsterflick stars Sean Penn with a foul mouth and a big nose in Gangster Squad. Also with roles for Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Nick Nolte and Emma Stone. The movie revolves around Gosling and Brolin’s characters who take on notorious mob boss Mickey Cohen played by Penn. One to look out for!

This one looks like it could be really good. Great cast! Was disappointed with Public Enemies after reading the book they based it on.
yeah, it’s always hard to relate to a movie when you’ve read the book. I usually either watch the movie and leave the book alone or vice versa, cause in the end you’ll always be dissappointed ’bout one or the other, but I’m too, really looking forward to this one
